Kombucha Cultures - SCOBY
A kombucha culture, used to ferment this ancient drink is known as a SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria & Yeast)
You will need a SCOBY to start brewing your own Kombucha at home. The good news is, that once you have a SCOBY, you will be able to keep on brewing kombucha forever. What's more, with each new batch of kombucha, a new baby SCOBY will form.
Our SCOBYs are raised on 100% organic teas and organic, unbleached cane sugar producing rich, healthy cultures. Keep in mind, that you will need one culture per gallon of kombucha that you want to start brewing.
